Blondel’s Experiment

چکیده
In 1914, Blondel [1] performed an experiment in which a solenoidal coil was coaxial with a region of static magnetic field, such that the magnetic field on the conductor of the coil was negligible. The conductor of the coil T (D in the right figure) could be wound onto an auxiliary drum T ′ (D1), such that the magnetic flux through the coil T (D) was time dependent. What was the reading of the galvanometer G (V ) when the conductor was in motion?

Effects of Cadmium on Cellular and Subcellular Structures of Cerebellar Purkinje Cells in Four-Day Postnatal Developing Rat
Purpose: This experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of Cd on cellular and subcellular aspects of cerebellar Purkinje cells in developing rats. Materials and methods: forty adult female Wistar rats served as subjects in this experiment. The animals were assigned randomly to four groups: control I, control II, experiment I and experiment II. The experiment group I and II were injected...
متن کاملLimiting Properties of Empirical Bayes Estimators in a Two-Factor Experiment under Inverse Gaussian Model
The empirical Bayes estimators of treatment effects in a factorial experiment were derived and their asymptotic properties were explored. It was shown that they were asymptotically optimal and the estimator of the scale parameter had a limiting gamma distribution while the estimators of the factor effects had a limiting multivariate normal distribution. A Bootstrap analysis was performed to ill...
متن کاملManipulation Effect on Lumbar Kinematics in Patients with Unilateral Innominate Rotation and Comparison with Asymptomatic Subjects
Background: Lumbar motion analysis is used as a clinical method in the diagnosis and treatment of low back pain (LBP). So far, no studies have shown if manipulating the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) will change spinal kinematics. Objective: The main objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of SIJ manipulation on the lumbar kinematics in subjects with innominate rotation and to compare l...
متن کاملBovine pestivirus infection: a cause of ovulatory disturbance in dairy cows
Twelve (Experiment I) and four (Experiment II) multiparous dairy cows seronegative to pestivirus were selected and randomly assigned to either a control group which did not become infected or a treatment group in which all cows became infected following intranasal inoculation 9 days before AI. The experimental induction of infection was carried out with 2 ml of non-cytopathic pestivirus (BVD ...
